“As artistic director of the Australian Brandenburg Orchestra, Dyer is one of this country’s leading practitioners of baroque and classical music.

Originally the gatehouse to the Underwood Estate…Dyer’s home is one of the oldest in the area. ‘I bought it off an opera singer 10 years ago,’ he says. ‘It just had this charm about it that I found pretty special.’

Otherwise, the open-plan ground floor is a light-filled, breezy space. It is both a refuge and inspiration for Dyer as  well as a reflection of a life steeped in the arts…
