“During this time she formalized her love of art and sculpture, attending classes at the Sculpture Centre in the Rocks, followed by Tom Bass’s studio and the Julian Ashton Art School. In recent years Jane has attended workshops at West Dean in Chichester in the UK, Carrara in Italy and worked with two sculptors in Paris.

In 1995, Jane was invited to hold an exhibition at the Barry Stern Gallery, the oldest gallery in Paddington, Sydney. Jane exhibits regularly at The Barry Stern Gallery, (Sydney) the Bell Gallery, (Berrima) and the Oriel Gallery (Brisbane). She has also been part of the Sculptors’ Society Exhibitions at Parliament House, Darling Park and Australia Square. Jane’s sculpture is held in private collections in Australia, America, France, and Hong Kong.

Jane works mainly in bronze, sometimes in stainless steel, polyurethane and aluminium and is still intent on harnessing the light in her work. She loves the shadows her sculpture creates and sees them as a fourth dimension. ”
